Puffy vs. Trench

Gotta Love a classic coat but......I just read is some magazine that Puffy Jackets were OUT and Trench Coats are IN. What am i suppose to do with that information when it is 20 degrees outside in the middle of January? I am not going to sacrifice warmth for "coolness" if you know what i mean! Maybe if you are living in Los Angeles then that trend applies. Well at least we have a heads up for what coat we can get for spring. Although will it be OUT by then? hmmmm....
