With winter in full gear, and the holidays behind us, I am finding more time to do things I enjoy like snuggling up in bed and reading good books. Lately I have discovered that I enjoy my kids' books almost as much as my own as I read out-loud to them books like Harry Potter, The Lightning Thief and The Immortal Secrets of Nicholas Flamel. My latest favorite though is Zoe Weil's book, Claude and Medea: The Hellburn Dogs as it combines a great story with social responsibility and other life lessons. Zoe Weil, is a genius and has boiled down her wisdom into this delightful read for children to enjoy and learn from.
