Make Your Own Kid's Wooden Kitchen

2009-04-gabbys kitchen.jpgAfter spending hours on the Internet last Christmas, trying to find the most eco pretend kitchen for my daughter's room, I really appreciate the genius in this one.  This pink kitchen was made by a little girl's parents out of recycled things they had on hand.  You can't be more eco than that!

"Gabby's mom, Michelle, describes the process and the components used: We used an old shelf we bought at an estate sale for the main body of the kitchen. The curtain is made from a Gap dress with a hole in it (found at the thrift store) We added a divider to the shelf and put the curtain on one side and the oven door on the other. The handle to the oven is from a non-working vintage mangle iron we had in the basement." read more here at Ohdeedoh.com....
