Okay, so if your kid is not one who is into collecting baseball or Yugio cards, there is another kind of card to collect. PopCardz is the new generation of trading cards, featuring 40 of the world's hottest stars to mark the first-ever edition of collectable A- list celebrity trading cards. These unique cards not only provide an opportunity for fans to express their support for their favorite stars, they also directly benefit the philanthropic efforts associated with each personality, with a percentage of proceeds being donated to their charity of choice. I am not sure how I feel about this kind of card as I am trying to steer my kids away from being celeb obsessed (can you see I am setting such a good example with all of my celeb grammy photos.. ugh). I do love the charity component, so that is a good thing. I guess it is hard for me to say because I don't have TWEENs yet. Although is a ten year old a tween? Maybe? Though my ten year old keep trying to get me to toss my subscription to US magazine as he thinks it is trash. Precocious little guy!
