Mine is okay most of the time, but she does repeat a lot of stories and tell me about her day in too much detail (I hope she is not reading this now!). But, what I have noticed is how valuable it is to actually really focus on her and give her my undivided attention every now and again. My parents are getting older and I am getting more aware of the fact that they might not always be there to talk to and that someday I might actually miss hearing how her garbage disposal was broken again and how my dad is annoying her. So, this Mother's Day I think a lot of 'older' mom's would just like some quality time with their kids versus any kind of store bought gift. I wonder if that is what any 'younger' mom's want for Mother's Day? My guess is if they are like me they wish for time AWAY from their kids! Any thoughts....??
