A Country Divided

bigstockphoto_Divided_Nation_2586305.jpgThere is so much nervousness on both sides regarding the election tomorrow.  Half the people in the country will be celebrating tomorrow night, and half the people will be heart-broken.  For my own sanity I have to remind myself that the only thing I can control are my own actions and that Gandhi's words are more true than ever.  He says "Be the change you wish to see in the world".  So rather than sit and complain about the way things are, take charge and make things happen- even if it is just something small. No one can do everything, but everyone can do something!

I couldn't agree more, Jen. I am nervous, but also excited. Tonight's election results are going to have everyone glued to their tvs and/or computers. I am keeping the hope alive for my guy!

I don't think I've been this nervous/anxious about an election before. Well, maybe the Gore/Bush election had me going a little. Just thank goodness the current guy is leaving! (Sorry Bush fans)
