Heather Locklear is seeking treatment for psychological issues at an Arizona facility, her publicist confirms to PEOPLE exclusively. "Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment," says Locklear's rep, Cece Yorke. "This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released."

Happy 90th Birthday Nelson Mandela

London has always shown a special affection for Nelson Mandela. And his 90th birthday was no exception. The city celebrated the South African statesman Friday night when nearly 50,000 gathered in London's Hyde Park to celebrate. The concert featured performances by Amy Winehouse, Eddy Grant and Johnny Clegg and was honored with such celebrities as Robert DeNiro, Will and Jada Smith, Pierce Brosnan, Denzel Washington and Oprah Winfrey. In 1988, London held a similar concert singing the praises of Mr. Mandela, only he was in prison on the other side of the world. When Mr. Mandela took the stage he recalled "[t]wenty years ago, London hosted an historic concert which called for our freedom, [y]our voices carried across the water to inspire us in our prison cells far away. Tonight, we can stand before you free. We are honored to be back in London for this wonderful occasion, celebration. But even as we celebrate let us remind ourselves that our work is far from complete." After 90 years of his quest, let's vow to carry the torch.

Justices Rule on Guns

The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled for the first time that the 2nd Amendment explicitly protects Americans' right to own guns for self-defense -- resolving one of the Constitution's oldest disputes and reviving the debate over gun rights, crime and violence. The landmark decision struck down a District of Columbia ordinance, the strictest in the nation, that barred homeowners from keeping handguns. The ruling brought immediate court challenges to similar laws in Chicago and San Francisco. la times.

Good Move For Big Sugar

In one of the biggest conservation deals in U.S. history, the nation's largest producer of cane sugar reached a tentative agreement Tuesday to get out of the business and sell its nearly 300 square miles in the Everglades to the state of Florida for $1.75 billion. Big sugar has been wreaking havoc on the environment for a long time and kudos to them for taking ownership of the problem. Read more at msnbc.

Holy Twin Big Babies!

North Carolina's Erin Maynard just had twins and the combined weight of her new babies is 23 lbs.1 oz. Abigail Rose (12 pounds, 3 oz.) and Sean William (10 pounds, 14 oz..) broke the state record for the heaviest twin birth in their state. Researchers have found only one other twin birth heavier than theirs in the entire country. In 1927 a set of Arkansas twins weighed four pounds more than the Maynard babies.

BEIJING (Reuters) - A Chinese policewoman who breastfed babies orphaned during last month's earthquake has been given a better job, prompting online protests that promotions should be awarded on merit, not merely for good deeds.

Jiang Xiaojuan, 30, left her own baby with her parents and took part in the disaster relief work, breastfeeding nine babies, earning her the nickname of "the police mum" in the press.
