Where is Lauren Merkin when you need her?

Do you remember when Lauren Merkin took the handbag world by storm a few years ago.  So where is she now? Well, here she is with some new great clutches for spring.  They are a take from her original clutch which in all honesty looks exactly like the first purse I ever owned in 7th grade. But, where greatness is involved there is no need to reinvent the wheel, so good for her.  And if I sound less than ecstatic, let it be known that my fave purse from her is the large plum tote.
